BETH RAHN

Founder & Managing Partner

Beth is a 15-year private investments executive, having spent her career as a fundraiser in the private markets. Prior to launching New Era Advisors, Beth led fundraising and investor relations as Head of Family Capital at McNally Capital, a private equity buyout firm.

At McNally, Beth raised capital for 8 direct investments as an independent sponsor, and then led the launch and capital raise of McNally’s inaugural committed buyout fund, including raising 3 co-investments alongside the fund. Beth served on the Investment Committee at McNally Capital.

Prior to joining McNally Capital, Beth worked at Sterling Partners, a small and middle market private equity firm, in an investor relations role. While there, Beth managed relationships with institutional investors and family offices and executed fundraises for a $250 million small market fund and nearly $1 billion middle market fund.

Over the course of her career, Beth has built a world-class network of family office relationships, while also working closely with institutional investors.

Beth takes a high-touch approach to relationship management and has a unique ability for storytelling and communicating complex investment concepts - key differentiators in a competitive fundraising environment.

Beth received an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management as well as a BS in Finance and a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing (with highest honors) from the University of Illinois. She recently graduated from George Washington University with a Graduate Certificate in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.

Beth is a member of PEWIN (Private Equity Women Investor Network) and currently serves on PEWIN’s Mid-Atlantic Events Committee. She has consistently been highlighted as a leader in the private markets, having spoken on The Mack Podcast and the McGuireWoods Fund Flow podcast and participating as a panelist at ACG conferences and on PLI webinars. She has also been highlighted in McGuireWoods Women in PE to Know and TresVista Brings to You.

In her free time, Beth enjoys traveling the world, spending time with her nine nieces and nephews, and searching for the best Neapolitan pizza outside of Italy.
